All of the serious bodybuilders, plers and strongmen I’ve known wore a lifting belt. It’s not worth risking the ability to lift because your ego prevents you from wearing a belt.

I don’t use mine anymore, as a matter of preference. Doesn’t matter if it’s 300+ SSB squats, 400+ deadlifts or whatever, I like knowing I’m capable without it.

A strong core obviously helps with lifts, but all a belt does is merely stabilize you. You still gotta breathe properly with a belt, without bracing properly a belt doesn't do chit.
CURRENT PR(S)
SQUAT - 315
DEADLIFT - 405
OHP - 135
BENCH - LOL
HIP THRUST - 425

Is it good to use if u have low back pain
cuz I feel like it's cheating meaning ur not using ur core to support ur back but the belt instead which means ur not working a proper rep to develop

I don't check my CP, IDC about reps/negs

The best thing you can do for low back pain is build up GLUTE strength and adductor/abductor honestly. Most people with constant low back pain have weak ass glutes.
As a lifter also building up lat strength lowers lower back pain because you can properly brace on legs/back days with your lats.

I have since bought a nice inzer, but that one will do what you need it too.
