This is just ignorance of never having played football. Not considering the qb position as a “sport” is flat out retarded. No wonder you’re red

Jordan and Montana are goats, they never lost when they went to the final stage.

Michael Jordan never lost an NBA finals series or had to play in a seventh game while leading the Chicago Bulls to six world championships in eight seasons in the 1990s

Id say Brady and Lebron is a better comparison.

Brady got drafted by MLB.
Jordan wanted to play MLB so bad he quit NBA at his peak to play in the minors

I always thought Peyton Manning was better. But Brady is probably more accomplished than MJ at this point considering how Brady has longevity while MJ retired early.

Brady is closer to someone like Bill Russel than Jordan. One of the greats and just a born winner but no football player can be as important as a single basketball player. There are 22 starters in football if you don't count special teams and only 5 in basketball making each individual player much more important

Pretty sure he's surpassed it. Brady is doing things you've never seen from a player in the NFL to an extreme rate. He's doubling the accomplishments of many greats of the game.

Jordan did some monumental things too, but not at the scale Brady seems to be doing them. Jordan didn't double the amount of NBA Finals appearances as the next person in line for instance.

It's that level of uniqueness that's really elevated Brady above all else. And if he wins his 7th SB it's just getting to the point of ridiculous. 6 NBA rings isn't equivalent to 6 NFL rings either for those trying to cross compare the sports.

Congratulations on not even remotely answering the question coherently. Most popular =/= most dominant. NBA markets the individual player very well and Jordan owned a f*cking company. I wonder why he's more popular than Brady world wide... durrr

Brady won rings without weapons up until he had Gronk. & even then Gronk was injured the second 2 runs. (he made welker and edelman). Now he's bout to do it his first year on a new team and finally you can say he has weapons.

Yes he did and nobody can argue. Although he always had receivers and a good team, Jordan did as well.

He is goat and you cannot argue this. Not a Brady fan myself but you can’t say he isn’t

There are 2 major differences:

- Brady has been caught cheating twice
- Brady lost during his perfect season; Jordan won the ring when he went 72-10

Also, Brady hasn't dominated a Super Bowl yet (maybe the Rams SB). Though Jordan never swept a team in the Finals either so that's a wash.

Jordan was out scored once by an opponent in a playoff series. Brady routinely gets outplayed by the other qb.

So far, i havent seen any arguments favoring Brady, other than really being nitpicky about stuff, like HOF teammates at Jordan's side etc (as if Brady played with a bad franchise)

To me its really simple:

Who was a more all around dominant player at their respective sports, Jordan or Brady?

Who was more influential on their team's success, Jordan or Brady?

It really isnt a contest IMO, as clearly Jordan wins in both. I agree that no football player can be considered greater than Jordan simply because no football player can dominate all aspects of the sport, but a basketball player can.

This would be the equivalent of Brady intercepting the ball on the last minute and then making a hail mary pass on the next play. Simply cant happen
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Brady > Jordan

Its harder to win in football. 1 superbowl is wort like 3 NBA rings. Lebron has shown us you can win ships in free agency. that NEVER happens in football.

Edelman is not a HOFer. But your point is still valid.

I also want to drop by and say that Peyton Manning has a winning record vs. Brady in the playoffs.

He has great longevity but is otherwise hugely overrated.
Tom Brady may not be the best QB based off numbers, but he’s definitely one of the best leaders and understands the importance of a QB having weapons. He was the one who brought in Gronk and AB (although BA likes to take credit for it). His natural ability to lead and being an overall consistently good QB is what makes him GOAT.

You can’t carry a bad QB (the most important position) to 10 Super Bowl appearances.

I’m a Chiefs fan and Mahomes is definitely on track to become the next GOAT, but only time will tell if he remains consistently top tier.

Jordan is the better athlete, Brady is a better leader/teammate. Pretty sure all of Jordan’s teammates hated him, meanwhile Brady is loved and respected by all top athletes (not even just in the NFL).

I'd compare Brady to Wilt.

Reality is Jordan was great, but he had great supporting players as well.

Older Moss is still Randy fukn Moss. He'd dust half the corners in the league right now. Fukr looks like deer running. His strides are so long it doesn't look like he's moving that fast until you see someone trying to keep up
