I've just started my first Vampire Counts campaign ever on legendary.
Man it's turn 40 and so far it's been smooth sailing. I never play Vampire counts on Warhammer 2. In 3 Either Vlad or Isabella start as a legendary hero depending on who you pick as the starting lord.
Whoever is the hero gets all their Quest gear straight up which i like. I started with Vlad so Isabella gets that insane healing item. Both of them together in the army seem insanely strong so far. Been able to essentially throw those 2 and a vampire into the enemy and just **** them while my skeletons etc hide lol. I really like their magic. I imagine ill have to learn how to properly play their armies eventually as a lot of the enemies I have been battling have **** all armor piercing.

It's only turn 40 so no insane enemy doom stacks but yea so far early game is such smooth sailing.

Which faction you gonna try first?

I have had it for about a month now and have done well with my usual factions
But Nurgle is fukkin hard, weak initial army getting my ass handed to me by Ghorst lol

Forget demon units just get chaos warriors with 2 handed weapons, then soul grinders.
