OP you were asking me about my plants. I have a Fiddle Leaf Fig that I've had over two years that's prob 10 - 11 feet now.
I have a huge Bird of Paradise that's probably 9 feet. I got it when it was 4 feet or so. It's taking over part of my living room lol.
I also have a few snake plants and ZZ Plants. I'll grow Basil in the spring.
Cocktails I've liked, well I'm partial to Bourbon so I like Whiskey Sour (the egg texture is fun), Penicillin, but I made a great Fennel Delight cocktail for my GF and I which is a Mezcal based drink. Naked and Famous is another Mezcal based cocktail also.

Greens, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and corn seem like a waste of space when you can grow some totally awesome stuff that you can't find anywhere else.
I have sampled every language and French is my favorite to curse in.

For truly exotic fruits, go for jabuticaba, sapote, jackfruit, lychee, or even just exotic varieties of popular fruits like different varieties of bananas, mangoes, etc. It's amazing how basically all bananas sold in stored are the same variety (grand nain) while there are so many other varieties which have such different and succulent flavors.OK I'm all ears.
