Hang around an LA Fitness or 24 Hour all day long, and you'll see just a handful of people at best squat weight like that out of the hundreds who walk in there.

I do bodyweight exercises sometimes. Push-ups and pull-ups. Try to stretch. Still have biceps. Can’t imagine going to a gym. Don’t have the motivation anymore. Did powerlifting for years and I became incredibly strong but looked like a bloated fat fuktard.

It took me a long time to realize that people react well to you when you are just a normal person that is nice and doesn’t stir the pot. You don’t have to try to be strong. Being a passive person allows you to slide right through.

Mirin, that's my goal deadlift. I hit 600 a few years ago then hurt my back.

Got 500 for 3 yesterday. I was hoping for 5 but man it felt heavy

Nice job. I've struggled with injuries too, and plateaued for the longest time due to just lifting whatever weight I felt like Usually just tried to PR every week. I started doing 5/3/1 about five months ago, and it's been crazy legit. You should look into following a program like that at this point, and I think you'll find yourself back at that weight by the end of the year.

Yeah I've done powerlifting programs in the past and unsurprisingly they work better than the chit I do on my own. I'm also recently coming off of a neck injury so I'm not bummed.

I made the decision to build a gym in my garage 2.5 years ago and it has truly paid off. At the moment, I've been experimenting with more of a 'maintenance' type of training. I hit it hard and heavy 3x (PPL) a week, training till failure, and focusing on compounds. I'm still living my IF lifestyle, as I've been for the past 8 or so years, and eat 12-7 every day. I find I'm in the best aesthetic shape of my life at the moment. I've definitely put on a bit of mass since last summer when I stopped cutting. I was looking kind of flat and depleted. Now, sitting in the low 180s, I can still wear the same pants I did while cutting but I look much thicker and fuller. Looking forward to beginning my next cut cycle in a few weeks. This one should be good.

I haven't lifted in a while but I'm going to start going to the park for pull ups and dips. Nothing serious and I'm not trying to get huge.
It was all just satire. Sorry if I offended anyone with my trolling and sickening posts. Peace and love to everyone.

Biggest gym 'lift' for me is that I've been consistenly lifting 4 x days a week for the past 3.5 yrs non stop, no breaks. Got Stronger and built decent muscle mass, now getting leaner and my waist is down to 30 inches

I quit deadlifting back in 2016 but recently decided to get back into it in November. Last week hit 500 for 4 sets of 2. Goal is to get back to 600 by June-ish? That would still be a ways off my best but one thing at a time.

Mirin' the heavy DLs ITT.

Inconsistency has been hampering my pressing, and I've still got a few more weeks before patellar tendon surgery to hopefully me get back to squatting/deadlifting, but I've made some decent progress on chin-ups, which has been helped in part by twinkmaxxing.

Goal is to get a one-armed chin-up. Have gotten to the point where I can do two chin-ups supported by one hand while my other hand holds my forearm about 3/4 the way down. Just gotta keep inching that down and cutting weight and I should get there.

I'm like 3 weeks into a 20lb cut - biggest 'lift' is that I've consistently done some cardio every time I've been in the gym during these three weeks. :'D
