Brutal first week, but just think it can’t get worse than this. Besides 115 degrees 14 days straight, but this still takes the cake

You're a 45 minute drive to Winstar. The Artesian up in Sulphur is a little further but worth a drive for a cozy, romanic weekend, but with gambling. They've got a great lounge and restaurant and a pretty solid spa. Across the street you can rent bikes at the visitor's center and ride through Chickasaw.

Denton also has a stellar jazz scene if you're into that. UNT is one of the top ranked jazz studies program in the US and it shows.

Good stuff. Can’t wait to actually enjoy it here lol. It’s been a rough start including rough time getting here. First day I hit a blizzard in Wyoming at a place like the Bermuda triangle. Been a wild ride. Next week weather looks great
