Speech, cadence, sound level is good.
Just, like you noticed, drop the uhs a little bit, did you prepare an outline for this video or you just went of the top of your head? If you freestyled, then that was really good and you'll kill it with a plan.
Subbed, looking forward to more.

I tried a couple earlier by writing stuff out, but I'll have to memorize it because I learned quick that reading and engaging with a camera is tough.

But there are ways around it, by putting your camera in front of the writing. If you're sitting outdoors and it's sunny, you can wear sunglasses and people won't see your eyes move. Or if you are staying indoors in one spot, you can put a big white board with the bullet point written largely so you can read them with your peripheral vision.

Just talked with my BIL. he is in Ottawa and is going to buy a relatively inexpensive gaming desktop for me used, and then build it into something that will work good for me for editing.
He's a huge gamer/techie. If all goes well ill have editing stuff in place in a few weeks.
i am getting a big white board, as i find sometimes explaining ideas by drawing them as a mini segment is a good way to get across ideas. For example, downrigging for lake trout and other fish. Its really easy to do a quick sketch on a board to show how it works. Or setting nets under the ice like the natives do. So much easier to do a one minute explanation using a white board.
A good way to get certain ideas across.

I kind of enjoyed the drive aspect, however like others have mentioned there are things you can do to help your delivery although I do think this is a genuinely good start.
I don’t think, memorizationis what you want to go for, but rather speaking from a place of knowledge. The best oral arguments in law don’t come from wrote memorization, but being intimately familiar with the case and being able to pull that knowledge fluidly.
You obviously know what you’re talking about, so I really think its about just having an outline of what your topics are, the main points of each topic, and then letting your knowledge fill in the juicy details that come from your years of experience. In other words, its just about the delivery and how you convey it.
I think the advice to look at other you tubers who do similar videos is really good, I’m not a trial guy but before taking calls or meetings that I know will be contentious I like to watch old F. Lee Bailey videos from the OJ trial and pay attention to his delivery, how he pauses, his cadence, his body language and how he uses all of that during cross examinations.
EDIT: the best thing you can do like comedians, actors, etc. is to record yourself and watch it back to find out what you want to change, even though it can be painful lol.

i think putting it all together will happen.
My issue is that when explaining things I am very reactive. As a contractor I lead conference calls with architects, designers, and property owners all the time, and these calls can be two and three hours long.
I have no issue explaining based on someones reaction, or answering questions, but just talking to myself just feels odd.
Good points above to work on.

And yeah a white board would be sick. You could explain with ease trap lines from a bird's eye view, how some animals move from one patch of trees to another for cover, comparing the size of different animal tracks, etc. Plenty of material to share brah.
