What part of Sodak are you in OP? Ya hate to see such a majestic animal killed but you gotta protect the herd. I would love to see Johnny Morris for the bill for the taxidermy work to see that thing on display at one of the states Cabelas stores!

There’s been 32 lions killed in SD just this year. They have a ridiculously high population because the hunting was banned there for many years.

Think this is the cat that killed John Dutton's cattle. We thought Tom Rainwater was behind it.

Honestly bro where I’m on the reservation the hunting for deer isn’t nearly as good due to poachers and tribal game wardens being lazy *******s. I do have friends not far from here off the Rez that have good hunting and are friendly towards hunting that I could look into for you if you’d like. Coyote, antelope, elk, turkey, grouse, prairie dog I got you covered but deer not so much. The amount of deer poaching that happens here is sickening.

I get it, but still sad seeing how relatively few of them there are.

In other states we have too many deer or too many wild pigs.

Relocation to create balance would seem sensible except that people freak out at a big cat being in the area. There was one shot here in the Dallas area within the past few months that made the news. Wasn't really bothering anyone or killing herd animals according to the report.

I’m fairly certain relocation is why there’s such a huge overpopulation in my area. As far as the one in Dallas, if it wasn’t killing herd animals I guarantee some people lost some pets.

Where in Kansas are you? I'm in KC and the deer are so ****ing populous around here it's super annoying. I was wondering if I could legally mow those ****ers down?

I’m on the pine ridge. I’ve got another gravel pit just on standing rock by Isabel. I know there are big deer up there but I’m not terribly familiar with the area.

My advice would be the mini badlands just south of McIntosh or along the Grand River. Seems like prime big deer country.

There's a bunch of youtube videos from third world countries, that show cougars exactly like in the OP, sneaking up to the front porch of people's homes, and killing their pet dog or cat and dragging it away by the throat, caught on their security cams.

I don't like big cats, or cats in general, so they can go F themselves. Cats are selfish, vile scum that kill living things for fun.

I'm glad they got that one in the OP. Hunt them all down I say.
