There's nothing I hate about the conservative viewpoint. What I hate are it's champions who are a detriment to the conservative cause. And their stupid actions and hypocrisy. Donald Trump being prime example. Ted Cruz. Margerie Taylor Greene. I could go on. We need an "Obama" tier leader who can energize conservatives without blowing up the party.

This is a good point, I should have thought a bit more before my previous reply.

Conservatives consistently lose when:

There is a problem.
Democrats try to solve problem.
Republicans deny the problem exists.

It happens in so many ways. The wages issue is a big one. Democrats pick the most straight to the point way to address it, and even if it is a retarded solution.....it's better than looking like corporate bitches. Republicans have no leg to stand on and are supporting corporate welfare by having companies pay their employees schit wages so the govt can make it up in food stamps and welfare. I don't agree with $15 so fast, but idiotfuk repubs should have addressed this when it was ripe to address (like during Trump's term!).

Their anti-drug policy is absolutely idiotic. It's completely contrary to the idea of Christian redemption to lock someone up in prison for a non-violent drug offense. True addicts need help, not punishment. And plenty of people who've done drugs are in fantastic positions in life (I'm one of them).

Also can't stand the genuine racism some of them spout. I've heard young conservatives, even plenty of Miscers talk about the dangers of "interracial dating" and other horsechit like that. My happiest and most fulfilling relationship to date was with a girl who was born in China and came to this country when she was 14. Smartest girl I've ever met to this day. She caused me to grow like nobody else has and holds a special place in my heart, even if things ultimately didn't work out. But some of my very conservative relatives, who I love dearly, never knew of her existence because I knew they would make things difficult. Either say racist chit to her, to talk behind our back. I think the fetishization a lot of progressive have for black people is ridiculous, but the opposite mentality is idiotic as well.

not a conservative value IMO, but republicans have chosen profits and isolation > society and cohesion and it's given the left the power to take over the culture

Conservatives hate illegal immigration because while Reagan legalized many illegals through amnesty. They mostly vote democrat as seen in California. Now the right sees minorities as anti white.

If democrats abandoned their anti-gun rhetoric and pro open borders rhetoric, I would seriously consider voting democrat.

Nobody understands the liberal (because they lie). First they say illegals are good for our economy, we will let then come in. Then when Trump wants to dump all convicted illegals in California, Newsom claims he doesn't want illegals in his state.

Yea but the problem is that liberals don't know how to build more housing. Lol many problem in the city could be solved if people owned homes / condos.

$0 mortgage or rent a month would lift everyone out of poverty.
Property tax and maintenance is so low it's irrelevant.

I don't like that they've decided they're God's spokesman in America and that they know what's best. I think the rest of their failures stem from this.

The GOP is mostly spineless *******s that would rather bend the knee the democrats than actually do what they were elected to do so.

As far as conservative values goes, getting even more hard line.

So would you say you support the police further now that they only arrest and fine conservatives and do nothing to arrest antifa. Or would you say you support defunding the police.

One of you first things you learn in undergrad econ is that the goal of any economy is the optimum distribution of resources.
I think conservatives who are against minimum wage, but support welfare / unemployment / medicare / social security are a special kind of retarded.

The problem with liberals is they want to only tax the highest levels of income not thinking about the consequences of those actions. For example how do you take money away from businesses without pissing them off enough to raise prices?

The abortion issue, and the climate change issue. And could care less about homos, but will never accept the tranny ****.

More bottom feeders that get aborted, the better off society will be.

Also support euthanasia, and despise the Bible thumpers portion.

What exactly about the climate change issues piss you off?

Is it that they don't want to subsidize renewable energy? That they aren't forcing people to use renewable energy? (Like how CA is banning sales of new gasoline powered vehicles... I think by 2050? And how all new homes are required to be built with solar panels)

Hypothetically if we all switched to electric vehicles, don't you think it would be a pain in the ass to recharge all of them? (You know having to sit for 8 hours in your car - imagine costco but infinitely worse)

Instead of abortion and the Republican party pushed forced sterilization for deadbeats would you support that as well?

The bible thumper portion is fine with me. The problem arises from the rednecks who think college is a scam.

BRB engineering, accounting, MD, law school all scams according to backwater rednecks.

There is a huge difference between a religious person living in suburbs who is a Dentist vs religious nutcase with mental problems who lives in the middle of nowhere who thinks you shouldn't dress improper, don't go to college, and you will be dating someone chosen by your parents.

People tend to confuse all religious people with the latter.

I have a problem with politicians using the police as a gestapo force. Some places the police are used as a revenue generator for the state. You can rob a bank, as long as you don't speed in your get-away car you probably won't get caught. These places are usually liberal blue chitholes. Defunding the police isn't the answer anywhere unless you want to make the problem worse. A lot of these mistakes are caused by police that lack training and/or support and resources to do their job correctly. As far as the arrests at protest are concerned, there is a lot of monkey business on both sides.

EDIT/ADD: Conservatives are generally anti-government and with that, not exactly pro-law enforecment. Generally we want to keep government out of our lives. It seems to me that every liberal I've ever known believes that people need to be told what to do and how to live their lives, In fact, law enforcement in a lot of really conservative places is kind of a way of keeping things civil. Kind of like door locks, they are for your protection, not ours. We will deal with the problem, and hogs eat everything.

Where I live, we don't even have police. We have a Sheriff's department. There is a huge difference in how that works. We ELECT our Sheriff, who then has his deputies. Police work for the Mayor.

I think the GOP could be more flexible on certain things like marijuana and better communications about alternative energy to build infrastructure for EVs while maintaining safe fossil fuels and have no issues with the LGBTQ community, maintain lower taxes across the board, then the GOP would be hard to beat.

What I am saying is that even if you don’t fully support a policy, that is the opportunity cost to get most of what you want.

I actually like that the trump wing of the republican party is ascending. The status quo is filled with boomers that are just as neoliberal as dems but with tax cuts. It would be nice to see mcconnel and his brand of republicanism go away. The lolbertarians are the worst of the worst. I'll go door to door for neolib biden if it meant lolbertarians had no influence at all moving forward.

Also, weed should be permanently banned with potheads getting extensive prison sentences. It literally is a gateway drug like we all heard about in our childhoods. Plus potheads are scum and untrustworthy.

I wonder why we can't have nuclear energy in an empty state like Wyoming, New Mexico, or Arizona to power the whole country.

This is a pretty good list (not sure I 100% agree, but it's really good).

One other thing that comes to mind is the strong Pro life stance. As I've said many times - I'm certainly not a fan of the act itself, but from a practical perspective there are already way too many mouth breathing losers irresponsibly breeding (and being drains on the system and/or creating future criminals), why the hell do we want to exasperate that by making abortion illegal?
