It's not unneeded damage if you aren't going full bore in sparring. Either way, I sometimes still use 16oz gloves when sparring but if i am sparring someone smaller or i see the other person is using smaller i will switch. I am not an azzhile in the gym so i'm not gonna hit hard, but i don't want some small goofball thinknig they are getting one over on me in sparring because they are 'landing' more lol

Fairtex > Yokkao as far as quality goes. Yokkao has more unique designs, of course

I don't have a single black-owned business in my city, so no. Even if there were some, I wouldn't shop any differently and would stick with them if I already shopped there and leave them out if I didn't already shop there.

Twins is far superior to both imo. Though I like my fairtex 16oz.

Yes, I've been exclusively getting my haircut at a black barber even though I'm not black. He edged it up and cut off my widows peak but it doesn't matter because #diversityisstrength.

Honestly this is no big deal, it is a positive thing and encouraging entrepreneurship and small business

This of all things is not what is contributing to issues with race relations

It's just supporting business owners, who cares if it's a specific group, you can't support all things all the time

It's a good thing for your city and country if black people are encouraged to have this type of role in society

I dont look at race I look at if they are woke or sjw. If they are either Ill actively avoid and try to steer my fellow coworkers away as well. It seems alot more normal people are getting pissed off with the race stuff. Which is good. Enough is enough already.

Fair enough, I'm used to people essentially saying why don't you go 100% every time with 1.2oz gloves. Well yeah good training is essentially meeting the vibe and returning it, nothing wrong with an occasional check shot to even things out.

I've had the complete opposite experience, my last Yokkao's lasted me a year and a half while I wore out both of my Fairtex ones in 6-8. The shin guards they make however have lasted me pretty much forever. I'm a sucker for the weird gloves I won't lie so that's why I usually go with them.

Supporting black businesses actually hurts black businesses in the long term srs. hear me out

A business that never learns to deserve the right to exist based on it's own economic merits is not sustainable. Once the hype dies down, if you don't have have a competitive product or service, you will go out of business.


When segregation was federally ended, my grandfather and many others went out of business, because they now had to compete with the big white chains. If race had never come into play in the first place, my grandfather would have created a sustainable business model on the front end.

i don't care what the race of a business owner is. youre either a good person or youre a chit person. neither are exclusive to 1 race or another

have noticed lately on google maps that they throw up this pop-up regarding highlighting black owned businesses and tbh i find it offensive.

Personally I would have thought this meant doing business with them but social media said I could support black people by going to a black dominated city and setting it on fire, and then returning home to the safety of twitter and ******** to talk about how much I helped the black community.

I try to avoid using google whenever possible but if I was using their maps feature and this happened id probably not go to that store just because of that srs, why are they pushing race so hard?

I left location service on and as a result I got an email from google telling me all of the places my phone pinged sort of implying that I wasn't doing a very good job quarantining.
