Not sure if they have parks around you that are open. My state isn't completely closed, some restrictions, but not many anymore, so I am not going insane, but I started going for walks in a state park and I still enjoy doing it every so often even with everything being open now.

Damn Canada still closed? Even Portland and California reopened before you guys. I know how you feel though, even though we're sort of open, it's not the same. Everyone walking around with 2 masks, no eye contact, no friendliness like before, etc. At least you have your wife. Many of us did this entire year alone.

Not in Missouri but same freedom ideals, most businesses have signs asking you to wear a mask, but it's only enforced at the Asian stores and dispensaries (srs lol) Some places of worship you have to reserve a spot ahead of time but that's really all the restrictions I can think of.

What's the definition of California being open? Can you dine in finally? Are gyms finally open?

My son asked recently how long we have to wear masks for...and also at times he defaults to it when getting ready to go out (he's 5). Both were disheartening. Good news is we largely don't bother putting them on the kids in public but we wear ours and nobody seems to care. I think people understand it's not about what we're told to do but just a weird "If I have to do it why doesn't he" mentality.

What's doubly sucked is waits at restaurants. People are getting back out but still have capacity restrictions in restaurants. Had to wait an hour with other people waiting to get a table this weekend. Will have to start eating dinner out at 4pm if this is going to be the new trend.

I miss movie theaters the most

Been waiting for 007 since january 2020

Fuk u fauci

-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

I think CA has some indoor dining + outdoor gyms.

But in PDX we have open indoor dining + indoor gyms.

Remember when "2 weeks" meant temporary?

This IS NOT going away.

Theres an entire industry for COVID **** now.

The new model is closings, restrictions, and lockdowns.

There will be more artifical or real pandemics in the future.

It's just finally getting warm enough for that. We were at -20 everyday for about a month straight, and now we're finally above freezing. I really can't wait to get out, and do some chit, even if it's heading to our nature preserve and watching deer chase each other.

Yep we get like 6 new cases and they shut us right back down. I live in a city of about 250k people or so, and man you couldn't go anywhere without people talking to you. Laughing, joking, asking how your day is/was. Now it's maybe 10% of what it was...People sincerely have no idea of how to interact with each other anymore.

We have security guards and stuff pretty much enforcing mask wearing everywhere. When I'm at work I can get away without the mask in certain places, but once I cross it's a no go. Hell our dispensaries are only doing online sales, and curbside pick up. Chit's sad.
