I'm not a huge Star Wars guy, but I loved it.
Mando is a badass and Baby Yoda is cute af. It's cool seeing the normally stoic, lone warrior develop a nurture/care relationship with the vulnerable, but important, little guy.
The ending of season 2 was awesome and the random Bill Burr appearances throughout are great.
But man, with the whole Gina Carano thing, it's like they're trying to ruin it.

It's really cool watching all the behind the scenes on Disney+
All the actors and crew are big Star Wars fans. It seems they're all big kids living their fantasies. Having their childhoods come true.
The new Virtual tech is awesome. How the majority of the show is just shot in this one room.

They were dropping round bombs in space that depended on gravity to work, when EVERYONE knows there is no gravity in space.
The ships kept running out of "fuel" when there was no indication that these ships run on fuel.
I usually pay attention to the stories in movies and so I glossed over this stuff before but it's really retarded. It's not someone without basic knowledge wrote this thing.

I get a little tired of a small group of heroes steamrolling dozens of motivated, incredibly pissed off stormtroopers. As soon as a main character gets involved they start shooting like the Italian blackshirts in WW2. Cara Dune is insufferable.
I’m still holding out that this is the first step in retconning the god awful Disney trilogy. The empire is still active well into the new republic era while in the movies they were not.
And they mentioned Grand admiral Thrawn who is infinitely more badass then any villain in the DT and was the main antagonist to the new republic before this EU nonsense.
