Prob for the best you didnt get it. Something seems off, maybe they meant originally it cost 1500. The thing is the most valueable parts they could split out and sell online. The case is whats expensive to ship. There is a parts shortage on a lot of electronics from the past year and just for something being used doesnt mean its going for 1/3rd the price of new these days.

Do not buy a used computer unless you're confident in your ability to wipe the hard drives clean and install the OS from scratch.

It would be soooooo easy to hide a remote admin tool or other malicious tools that would be invisible to the average user.

I wouldnt keep the hard drive/ssd it comes with. even if it is "wiped", you never know what was on it.

buy your own hard drive ASAP, you can install windows or linux w/ windows installer on a usb drive.


but really, I would just buy new.

you could build a PC with parts from 2018-2019 for stupid cheap (ryzen 2600, rx580) for video editing, you wont be too far behind unless you are using it for gaming and want high FPS.
