Ah yeah, I guess that just comes down to your personality.

But yeah, I get what ur saying. But generally, the whole gym scene should be douchy. Like, capped delts 8 pack **** standing next to some fat guy in his designer clothes, quite a contrast lol. However those 2 things have morphed recently and it's pathetic as guys.

I think ur completely missing the point. In short, I'm just saying that the gym scene is meant to be hardcore, not ***gy. Out of gym, guys are trying to look like eachother with matching clothes and personalities, I mean, come on.

Spoiler!
Harry potters loll!!

It's retardadly pathetic when I go out to the shops and see a pack of 7 guys all wearing their "expensive" designer clothes whilst awkwardly texting eachother. Waste of space and life like, they're worse than gay women. *Not lesbians, just retard wise.

Yeah, despite the jersey shore gay characteristics, they weren't that bad for how lived their lives. (Never watched it)

Nj? I dunno, haven't since those kinds of styles for atleast 7 years.

If they do, then it isn't anywhere near as popular as it was before.

Nah, the classic gym ****s culture (which is the gym scene all over) started back in the 90s, then stopped in 2013.

The guys around Arnold Schwarzenegger time were the few anomalies.

Now we have the internet where every lifter is sub 10% bf, benches 315, squats 405 and claims natty.

You kinda have the gymshark culture for men and women. THe sloots with the high waisted pants and the ones that show off the ass spread and camel toe.

These days, you can basically tell how hard a dude is going to work in the weight room just by how he's dressed. It's hilarious.
PRs:

Squat: 672 lbs
Bench Press: 446 lbs
Deadlift: 696 lbs
Press: 265 lbs

Yeah, and it's not even impressive when literally everyone does that.

Lol, those pieces of junk? That culture is garbage, just look at them. Those clowns come into the gym hogging the machines whilst getting 0 results, they look horrific anyways.

Honestly, some 19 year old media gay boy at the gym is embarrassing.

Yeah its not a good look when you got a 40ish YO doing fist pumps and GTL, lol.

Young Guidos turn into older "mafioso" guys...think of Tony Soprano and his crew. That how we all are now into our late 30s and early 40s.

Yeah lol.

I honestly have no idea what happened to those guys. They just disappeared off the face of the earth.

That's another pathetic thing. "Dad bods". I mean, what kind of fat clown gets themself to predominantly fat bf% and lives to tell the tale? Worst part is that people are soothing their feelings.

Right, the best thing I did was make a basement gym years ago. 500lbs of weight, Olympic barbell, squat stands, pullup bar and an adjustable bench. Less than 1K for everything and no excuses to hit the iron.

Plus started training BJJ 2 years ago too. **** that "dad bod" merda.

Sounds pretty sick! Wait, was that to avoid people at the gym? If so, LOL!!

I was thinking of starting mma sometime, but, yeah it breaks social distancing obviously lollll. Are u any good at bjj? I really want to start something like that.

Haha no not to avoid people, work picked up and was really only getting to the gym 2x an month, so it was actually cheaper to buy everything versus paying a gym membership monthly that I wasnt gonna use. Now people I train BJJ with come over and lift with me lol.

I don't think im good at all...but I got my 4th stripe this past monday and will be testing for my blue belt at thr end of August...so in guess my professors think im doing good.

We definitely don't worry about social distancing and were doing underground jiujitsu during the lockdown last year.

it's not just a gym thing, it's a societal thing. There are very few genuinely masculine men that are presented in the media as role models. A lot of young people's role models are also taken from "influencers" on social media, and not many of the guys with huge numbers on social media are the masculine ones or gym guys, it's usually the sensitive or philosophical guys, artists or gamers. which is fine, but it is kinda disappointing that guys aren't really celebrated for being masculine anymore. Being masculine is portrayed as more negative than positive a lot of times.
