used to have one, thought it was the GOAT.

Then I got an old school butterfly safety razor and realized those are the true GOATs

The best probably is the safety razor,
The old Gillettes vintage fatboy adjustable razors are possibly the best of these, with gillette silver blue blades ( Good blades is the tricky part to source)

Warm towel over the face before shaving for a minute or two.

Taylor of old Bond street shaving cream or Proraso Shaving cream (the tube version)

Hot water.

Now that will take a bit of time and isn't as convenient as a fusion or a harrys razor but it gives a better result. You can try a straight edge razor but they can be even more time-consuming of a shave.

I think shaving with a safety razor is faster/easier than the new ones. Fewer clogs and easier to clean out mid shave.

Right

But I think middle Eastern genes have the best beard genetics . Thick and full not scant and patch like the rest of Asia

The also have the best styles with the beards , but I prefer clean shave
