westport does have the beach, which new canaan doesn't have, but new canaan actually has a pretty damn good restaurant scene, the HS sports absolutely dominates westport because the vast majority of westport is jewish (no anti-semite) and all they play is tennis and squash (ded fkn Srs)

new canaan is literally a perfect town in terms of cleaniness and aesthetics

there isnt a single unmowed piece of grass or a beater car parked in front of someones house/yard / the downtown is spotless and perfectly maintained

zero thuggish ruggish people around anywhere

not a soul in sight who isn't wearing nice clothes

no minorities





westport is a little more dense and has a more granola liberal types there (but still SUPER nice)

Ive been thinking of buying a home in either new canaan or westport to avoid the higher property taxes in westchester and nassau

I'm not jewish - would i fit in there??

hows the new canaan baseball scene for kids?
