Let's not forget the fact that since 2010 or especially when I joined (I haven't seen my join date in forever as it doesn't show on my phone) but around 05-06, a million fitness websites have popped up. That draws activity away.
Also, people post 10x more on Instagram, FB, TT, etc etc. Web forums are old hat and have been for years. The overall activity of places like this are way down man. The only reason a place like Reddit has more traffic in this day is because it has 1000x more topics as its a generalist hangout. Generalist as in whatever goes with whoever wants it.
Plus most people that were members during this site's height (04ish -2014ish) are probably now, dead, married with 3 adult children, working in stressful/successful jobs, drug addicts, been married and divorced twice, lost a parent, child, sibling, found our purpose lost it, found it again...so forth and so on. We're all like late mid 30s to early 50s now.
Life has a way of whipping your ass and giving you a nice blow job at the same time.

Someone posted a graph of bb misc traffic the last time this thread was posted, and it's a complete downhill chart the past 10 years. They never made it mobile friendly, and starting 2014 cell phones became more popular than PC's. A lot of good members were perm banned, and like ^^ said, everyones on instagram, fb, tiktok these days.

Meh, it's not the golden age anymore but it's still a fun place.
