I might've gone out and got a few firearms over the last 12 months. Including a 30-06 hunting rifle in case I really need it. I kind of wish I could get my hands on a Garand just for pure efficiency purposes, that is having the same rounds available for 2 different guns. Too bad to buy one they run around a grand.

My dad got his M1 for $350 around 2012 and it was used in the Pacific campaign in WWII. Got one hell of a good deal lol. I love everything about it. Itโ€™s a heavy rifle but accurate as fuk and has never once jammed on me. The only thing I donโ€™t like is the circular rear site. Iโ€™ve tried to like it but I just donโ€™t. I prefer the classic type. Itโ€™s just weird to me and it kind of blocks off part of the area you wanna hit. But Iโ€™m still a good shot with it.

Lately Iโ€™ve been wanting to buy the Mannlicher Carcano rifle that Lee Harvey Oswald (allegedly) used to kill JFK. I wanna see if I can recreate the shots myself from the same exact distances the car was for those three shots. Iโ€™m a lefty and I doubt Iโ€™m gonna find a left handed bolt action Mannlicher Carcano but Iโ€™ve been shooting standard (right handed) bolt action rifles since I was a kid so itโ€™s nothing new.

Was agreeing with you until you dropped the ball here.

Flyover states are 1000% better than blue coastal states, and I've lived in both. The o ly thing that kind of sucks are the economies but if you have valuable skills (ie not worthless humanities degrees) then you'll be okay.

Got my AR15 earlier this year. Stocking up on High Compacity Mags right now just in case they try **** with those. Now only if I could find bullets that werent ****ing overpriced.
