the number 1 reason to not date a single mom- and this is nothing against them- is that you will NEVER be number one.

a man should always get to enjoy that honeymoon phase in the relationship where his woman is madly in love with him and he's the number one priority in her life. however long it lasts. its different for everyone.
a man should accept that when he makes his wife/woman/gf/whatever a mother, that he is no longer number 1.

again no blame on single moms for this. you have a kid, the kid is #1. that's how it should be for everyone.

My brother married a gal with a 3 year old kid and he adopted the kid.

Then they divorced and she removed him from his care but he had to keep paying child support.

At first he said hes okay because the kid is still his child, but after a few years the kid was a snot nosed teenager ungrateful sh*t status, and my bro started referring to the kid as "the coyote" because all he did was scrounge around and steal money.
