It’s a cartoon so it takes it to absurd limits, but is mostly based in truth. Things I’ve seen or experienced from it:

- “I don’t do this often” from dozens of girls when hooking up

- the “Sorry you’re not Christian, vegan, etc” one was very spot on. Women just make **** up if they’re not into you as a reason to not hurt your feelings (that you aren’t a man enough). But women will 100% say one thing and the hookup with a guy that breaks all those “rules”

- ho settling down with safer beta bux as she gets older

- the “women aren’t like that, trust me I know women” was laughably accurate. So many guys get defensive and say that nonsense when they’ve had maybe a handful of girlfriends in their life


Like I said it definitely takes to it absurd limits but if you’ve been around the block enough you’ve seen everything in the cartoon to some degree

What these comics and all of the bitterness boils down to is the following:

We are a biological, sexually reproducing species at our core. We have evolutionary urges and impulses hardwired into our DNA. However, we also happen to possess a very advanced cortex capable of critical thought. We have the ability to recognize, accept, and circumvent base impulses like the desire to spread your seed as much as possible and to smash other humans outside your relationship. Those who can't help themselves, like these comics suggest, are not tapping into your cognitive prowess very much, and that's pathetic. I really do believe we're not at a point in our evolution where we're able to use our cortex to its fullest capacity yet. We're in this sort of limbo, half-way state, just out of the woods and beginning to recognize that we no longer need to abide by defunct, obsolete evolutionary impulses from millennia ago.

Find someone with these critical thinking skills. For the men, some of these womenareout there. I've met them. Most are not. Then again, that's a representation of our population at large. Most people are pretty stupid and basic.

It's not just guys. There are girls out there who think they partied hard by dancing at a bar and and getting drunk. One time I was with one of my buddies and his gf at the time who he is now married to. She was telling us a story about her "wild" parties and I started laughing and said me and her bf had some wild times too.
