Fwiw his brothers said at his worst Farley was up to 350 lbs.

He was drinking, using hard drugs and overeating.

He was hanging out with a worst crowd and had cut out the people who actually cared about him.

Aside from everything he was probably the only 'star' that srsly hit me in the feels learning about his death. I was legit sad AF. Grew up watching him in everything and always had me rollin. Watchin bio now and fkn sad all over again.

oh towards the end he was on Letterman and he was clearly high as a kite/drunk - probably both. You can see in Letterman's face that he is forcing the laughter to play it off and definitely looks concerned - though that might have been him irritated as I think he was kind of a control freak

A co-worker at the time totally freaked out about his death, since he was also about the same age, was really fat and took drugs.

Lost touch with him.

I saw him a few years later with his GF, I didn't recognize either of them because both had gotten even fatter that all distinguishing features were lost in the pile of fat. I was only after I thought about it a few minutes later that I recognized who they were.

I'm the same age as he wasI still remember talking about it with my buddies when I was in elementary school. I ate up everything he did until he died. Kind of a shame tho because a lot of his movies leading up to his death were kinda ****. Hate to say it but I bet if he didn't die, his career may have gone the way of the other SNL guys. Great start, but non-stop mediocre crap.

Except for Spade and Joe Dirt. That was awesome.
