Hey bro, I'm no expert here. I got 38 month (just over 3 years old) and although he's hard work, he gets better with time. When he was around 2 months or so I asked my bodybuilding mentor when does life go back to "normal" since he's got 4 kids all in their teens and he said once the hit their teens. You are no longer their hero etc.

"hey son, how's school?" "Fine." *goes in room* etc.

As for fun, I am obsessed with lifting (as most miscer could tell with my lack luster lifting / swolfie threads) and I've got a home gym so I'm sorted.

Yeah, but you restarted already. The real fun (for me) was around 3. 2 is ok though. In year 4, things accelerate at a pace you aren't ready for.

What things do you miss doing? Do you and the Mrs./gf get along?
And imo, the biggest difficulty with being a dad depends on the woman you choose. I really think that makes all the difference.

Married with an almost 3yr old daughter. Daughter is legit my best friend & always wants to play or adventure outside. Got her mini weights & boxing gear so we lift together. I aim to give her every opportunity to flourish & not let my mental or physical limits hinder hers. Being a dad is fun even though your personal pursuits get a bit shuffled to the back. Seeing her smile in the mornings makes every bit of struggle worth it. Repping all the dadbros in here.
