Mods banning everyone all the time
Long list of chit we’re not allowed to talk about
Alts spamming the same threads 24/7
No new users coming in because people go to Reddit & YouTube instead
Decline of forums in general
Recently, every other thread is about race. Especially in 2020. That’s driven people away for sure.
Am I missing anything?

Most internet forums have been dead for years now. This forum is actually busy in comparison, social media pretty well ended forums. This one will eventually get worse until it closes all together, communist mods wont help either.

The fact that it was ever so busy was really an anomaly if you think about it. In actuality it's a sub forum on a site that sells bodybuilding supplements. That's a pretty niche subset of people that would even be exposed to it's existence in the first place.
My guess is that it just hit at the right time when the whole internet fitness craze was peaking and word about the misc spread to a lot of people who aren't even interested in fitness.
