Proof that the IMF is in on it. Last year they refused to grant Belarus a $940 million loan unless they implemented COVID lockdown measures. Belarus is lockdown-free today.
“In March, Belarus requested the fund to discuss the possible provision of emergency assistance, but no agreement was reached. We have not found ways to overcome significant differences on the appropriate response to the current difficulties,” said the IMF spokesman Gerry Rice at a press briefing.
The IMF representative explained that it was about a Rapid Financing Instrument (RFI), within which the fund provides financial assistance to countries affected by the consequences of the pandemic.
“This [financial] mechanism does not contain any stringent conditions <…>, but [its use] requires safeguards of transparency and appropriate policy measures to ensure that funds are used to combat the pandemic and promote economic stability,” he said.

1. To what end? So everyone just gives up their homes/properties. Has no debt. But sits at home and collects a check from the government? Cool, so we stay shut down forever?
2. Governments barely have the resources to contain a few BLM riots. And people participating in those riots are pretty much the biggest losers society has to offer. Without jobs, homes, assets, etc. So if the government strips every single citizen of jobs, homes, assets, etc. What do people have to lose?
3. I don't know about in Canada but in America states/cities under Republican/conservative leadership have already either reopened or have drastically reduced covid restrictions. The data is pointing towards the whole thing was an over-reaction. So is this great reset plan only going to take place in Liberal/Leftist cities?
