Terrible doesn’t even begin to describe it. Of course this is just my opinion and one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

I did. I personally don’t care for that type of animation style, but the story wasn’t bad.

As I mentioned, The Mandalorian was a hit for me. I like masculine heroes, and I can appreciate strong women in a lead, but this whole “I’m bigger and better just because I have a vageen” is just meh.
And why do they need another bigger better girl, what is Rey, chop liver?
Why not develop the characters they already have and focus on the over all story. Just baffles me I guess.

Look at that Reya and the Last Dragon movie. There were virutally no male characters of note in that movie. The Dad who turns to stone instantly. The obese barbarian who's only there as comedic relief and not a good one either.

Most of the younger fans actually appreciate the prequels as well as the animated series Clone Wars, because we grew up with it. It's mainly the older boomer fans 35+ that like to rag on the prequels.

HOWEVER, there's nothing wrong with a woman being a Jedi.

The force is not something male, female, or alien, it's something that involves all living things.

So, it's perfectly logical to have female Jedi and Leila had the force in the original films, and that didn't bother anyone.

What bothers people is WOKE writing.

Woke writing isn't a natural story it's forcing ideas EVERYONE ALREADY KNOWS in a preachy manner that is contrived. In the latest films it resulted in a SUPER BORING female character with no personality or character arc. She's always right, doesn't need to learn lessons, and so on from start to finish.

Rey was a Karen type.

They wanted a black main character and they cast a guy who was no handsome, doesn't have much screen presence, and then they gave him nothing to say or do. So, it's more bad writing and creating hollow symbolic characters.

These new films will likely suck but it's not because of a female character, it's because of sh!tty writing.

Woke stories are literally on like a grade school level. There was once a black guy and he was brave and there was a powerful woman and that's the end of the story!
