I don’t pay attention to what other people around me do. I wear one and often forget I’m wearing it and just leave it on all day

What I'm always surprised by is people wearing masks in cars, especially couples where one is and one isn't. You're in a sealed vehicle. If it was an Uber I'd get it.

I wear it in stores and if someone I don't know comes over and comes inside. That's it.

Some people seem to think that the virus is like a gas cloud around us all the time.

South Carolina crew checking in. I think we were ranked second as far as states with fewest restrictions. With that being said; I'd say we still have maybe half the people you see out wearing them. That's fine with me since it's their choice and not mandated. I will say if you look closely it's mostly black people and middle aged Karens who wear them.

I wear it in stores because most of them have that requirement, but as soon as I’m outdoors no mask.

Double maskers, mask alone in car, mask outdoors users and other weirdos always make me lol

In PA its mandated, which is total crap. I'll wear one in businesses and where required but I refuse to wear one outdoors. It's ridiculous. They are making my kids wear them for outdoor soccer for the spring. It made my blood boil. These rules are so asinine and inconsistent.

Wish I lived in TX or FL.

I throw a gaiter on if there is a sign stating masks are required, only because I'm not a confrontational douche for the sake of being a confrontational douche. It is their right as a business to have a dress code, and my right to not shop there if I don't want to follow it. Otherwise fukk that noise. Walked into a local bar with my wife Saturday night and not a single mask was seen. It glorious.

I have a mesh thing that I wear in most places that require it and people don't say anything. If I'm in a restaurant I usually fiddle with it to the point where I don't actually have it on just for the lulz while to and from the table. My wife and I put them on ourselves to an extent as described above just to avoid hassle, but we don't bother putting them on the kids. If we're out in a more rural area people generally DGAF and we don't bother there.

I am in VA Beach and there are two different realities here. In regular town where the locals are its pretty serious business. I can't remember the last time I walked into a store and saw someone not wearing a mask, and that dates all the way back to last spring. Its pretty much 100% compliance 100% of the time. Walking down the street last year virtually noone had on a mask for that part, but for some odd reason probably 30% of people you see walking down the street now have on masks. Going out to the Tanger outlet there was virtually noone with a mask on outside, they just put it on when they went into the store. Starting around October of last year people started wearing their masks 100% of the time even outside at the Tanger.

In the tourist sections of town its a different story. People regularly don't wear masks there, and its not unusual to go into a store and see people without masks on. I think the most interesting time for me was last spring when we basically had 100% masks in stores here but when I would go visit my parents down in South Carolina it was basically 0% masks in stores. That lasted for a few weeks and was interesting to experience.

Here in New Jersey it is still hysterics if you are not wearing one. Lots of people outside with masks, driving with masks, hiking with masks, ect. I only put one on for stores, otherwise im without a mask. I have only had a few sour looks my way while hiking but no one confronting me. Usually the towns that are the worst are the liberal yuppie towns, you can tell by the murals of nurses and EMT's calling them "Covid heros" that are next to the BLM murals. All this while local ordinance is destroying the average business owners life. All it is doing in reinforcing my plans on leaving this state.

When the Baylor men's basketball team exited the plane many of people cheering had masks on, any idea where that flight landed? This was yesterday.

In MN--it's masks everywhere all the time. We were like one of the first states to have the state-wide mask mandate too (like around last May?). A lot of people even wearing them outside. I can't remember the last time I was inside a building and saw someone w/o a mask on. Srs.

I'm starting to see less masks. Outskirts parts of town, barely see them anywhere. Inner parts of town everyone is wearing one. I'll let you guess which part of town is liberal and which is conservative.

Still see people driving with masks on though...

What's interesting is that when it first hit and people were the most scared the news was that you don't need to wear it while walking and whatnot because it doesn't transmit that way. Now I see many people outside around no one with masks on.

It evolved to people wanting to wear them all the time.

I can't wait until it stops.

thats how nevada is. Rural areas the mask mandates don’t even seem like a thing. But go into Reno or Vegas every one is wearing them and the gyms are much stricter

Middle class and upper middle believe in the system because it works for them.

That's literally what "bougie" means. It means "bourgeois" which are middle class shallow conformists with delusional dismissive values regarding anything outside of their reality.

Rich people don't care because they run the system and poor people don't care because they don't benefit from the system.

Socal is as insane as it gets.

-Masks in cars alone
-masks on the beach in 80 deg weather
-masks on their 3-4 year old children outside in the sunshine
-masks on surfers headed to the waters edge (srs wtf??)
-mask on trails in the middle of nowhere walking alone
-militant mask nazis at the entrance to nearly every store and establishment
-vaccine propaganda on billboards, buses, radio ads, youtube ads, tv ads 24/7

The conditioning here is soo extreme, soo complete that it feels like Im in a movie srs. Most of the people are cowards and are just conforming to "fit in" with the sheep, but there are a ton of militant true believers too.

I have GOT to gtfo of here ASAP and get my ass back to a Free State (working on it now)
