The "best" female vocalists would have to possess more than a 3 octave range, imho. Well-known females in the industry can carry a tune with notes as low as baritone (called contralto for females) and typically sing comfortably in the highest register (either mezzo soprano or true soprano).
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.

Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!

Yes, excellent choices!! You know your female vocalists!! How are you doing, btw? I haven't posted to you in A LONG time!! You were ALWAYS kind and respectful towards me... thank you Ben!!

Are you sure it was ME that talked about a "marathoning cousin"? One of my cousins I mentioned was in a ballet company (as a child). I don't know anything about (distant) family taking up marathon running.

Depends on the style

There are some SICK indie singers that don't get a lot of recognition because they aren't in your face popular for whatever reason.

Katelyn Tarver is one.

I am great!
Sorry about the mixup, OP Piano had a cousin who was a marathon runner who contracted covid19 and it wrecked a super fit guy. I was asking how his return to normalcy is going.

Yeah, it's so freakin unfortunate that it can strike even the fittest!! Who would have thought this when the CDC kept saying people with weakened autoimmune issues would be easily susceptible before anyone else. I believe it has had much to do with the amount of social contact during this entire pandemic. Hope your friend recovers soon!! He has tremendous and healthy lung capacity on his side!!

Edit to stay on topic: Belting out 3 or more octaves requires a certain amount of lung capacity, and no one would want to lose that!!! Especially the talented female vocalists mentioned above!
