just got asked a question about the moon and the earth's tides and explained that the moon's gravitational pull influence's tides of the ocean. This was followed up with "we're 75% water and the moon's gravitational pull has effects on us too), feel like i got baited....

Jandels got me all amped up

you guys don't know what frustrating is until you hear you smart wife get lectured to by her mom with a 60 IQ, about how she shouldn't work, how it's her fault for getting covid for working, and about how she should go on unemployment. And about how she should eat all this vegan food with 100 ingredients and take all these essential oils, since she's the epitomy of health

Now her sister is her, she's enjoyable to be around, but for the past 1.5 hours ive been hearing about her saying you're like this, you feel this, the stars, you're personality, you do this, etc. from ****ing zodiac signs. I walked in and cheekily said "i didn't know stars could write" - don't think she got it, tried not to be a dick and resume a "normal" conversation

still hearing about the moon

frustrating part is my wife says 2 words every 5 minutes, rest of the time is no break, puerto rican cloud talk. I turned up the tv 2 notches already, im afraid anything else will be fragrant.

Bout to switch from beer to tequila.

On the surface I love her family, her sisters actually super cool, but she's been talking for almost 2 hours straight explaining my wifes personality based off astrology. Which drives me crazy to begin with, let alone non-stop in another language. Everytime I think it's done, i learn something new about my wife's personality

watchout for the next full moon bro's we're 75% water, if anything bad happens blame it on that.

My wife's a doctor and gets lectured by her sister and mom neither of which even have a college degree. And when I say lectured, I mean they talk for hours non-stop, and she's polite enough to listen.

Thought I was gonna be a lone an hour ago and i'm still trapped. send help pls

If you're posting on the misc you must have a sense of humor and maybe even good timing with the humor. I'd suggest you make use of it in situations such as yours. There's comedy in plenty of situations. Just gotta take a sec to sit back and find the laughable moments.

I loved ga. I was 2 miles from the braves stadium, had everything you could imagine within driving distance, and cost of living was surprisingly cheaper than richmond va. Miss it a lot tbh. Used to go to sunpark stadium to hangout, watch drunk people ride the bull, and smyrna village also had no open container laws which was dope

Also, miss the goat fast food of GA (Dream of del taco daily, and steak and shake was great also).
I'm in Buckhead now, but used to live in Marietta. Nice brah Suntrust park is nice well they call it Truist Park now. Yeah I know Smyrna well nice area too.

Ohh man Del Taco is great, and Steak n Shake brings back high school/college memories you familiar with the one on Barrett Pkwy Kennesaw? Lol used to go to that one all the time with the boys after a night out hammered at like 3 am you met all types of characters there.

Atlanta area has changed a lot though I've been here for awhile, and I swear it's like millions of people moved here within the last 10 years. Traffic on 75 and 285 now is miserable. Thankfully I WFH now, and I don't have to use the interstate if I have to go into the office, but getting to the airport is a nightmare sometimes.

lol i know what they call it, but this is the misc so i keep it simple. Miss more than aything having nothing to do and just strolling over there, on non-game days the redlot always had free parking.

Steak and shake is great while drunk, and on ocassion, as you can get a meal for less than $5. Actually had one of my credit cards frozen for someone buying
$37 worth of steak and shake. That should tell you how cheap it is.

Del Taco is everything i wish taco bell could be. They use real ingredients, no diarrhea after, etc. and a similar price point. i miss del taco more than anything and it's not even close

I'm super sarcastic and have a decent sense of humor. However, its been 2+ months, its hard to just laugh everything off for 2 months. Imagine walking into your home and getting blasted with essential oils, walking into the kitchen and seeing dirty dishes everywhere, everytime i talk to my wife I get interrupted by by MIL, because she talks non-stop and has no sense of respect. I don't talk much, but it's frustrating when i try to i constantly get interrupted.

Also, my MIL does this thing where she baby talks now that my wife's sister is here. Like full conversations talking like a baby. It's the weirdest thing
