Miscers who dabble should know that narcan (naloxone) is available to everyone without a prescription.
You can usually pick some up for free at a local addiction center or methadone clinic, if not you can purchase it at a pharmacy. There are also organizations that’ll mail you some if you fill out an online form. Be aware of good samaritan laws and chit in your area though and note that people often wake up as aggressive lunatics after narcan administration so be safe.
I keep some in my vehicle first aid kid just in case.

So when you finally stop drinking your brain is still fired up trying to fight off the depressant effects of the alcohol, except now the alcohol isn't keeping your brain level
So now without alcohol you have nothing but stimulation which when mild like after a weekend of heavy drinking can manifest as anxiety
But when you've been an alcoholic for a while, the stimulation gets so bad that you shake a lot without alcohol and can even have deadly seizures
