Why would you want the CDC to have a consistent message in a world where the variables have changed this much. Does that make sense to you?
And again, this means OP is right how exactly?

Have even listened to all the contradictory crap?
So they are or aren't sterilizing vaccines? If they're sterilizing then wearing masks after vaccination is totally pointless.

This IMO.
Economic concerns could definitely be a factor + dangling a carrot to get more people vaccinated.

If our government was less divided and actually effective we could see a big turn around at least in the level of overall employment if Congress would:
- end the extra unemployment money
- pass an immediate minimum wage increase to $12 an hour w/some kind of mechanism for business to receive support specifically to ease their transition for workers/positions they already have***
- remove the requirement for 6 foot social distancing/masks outside immediately [yes, really] AND the requirement for masks inside effective in 60 days so that anyone who wants a vaccine has time to get one
- publicize more widely that contaminated surfaces are not of sufficient concern to justify requirement by law for extra cleaning
Then we could see employment really increase drastically over the summer.
I swear it isn't that hard and you don't have to be that smart to figure this out. The restrictions were supposed to be to save lives, not to keep everyone safe from ever being sick again in this lifetime. People that still want to wear a mask forever and carry sanitizing wipes to wipe down every surface can keep doing that.
May not see a law passed re:minimum wage, but looks like reducing restrictions is here and ending the extra unemployment money seems to be under discussion.- end the extra unemployment money

More data has come out and now the CDC now says you virtually never need to wear a mask.
The CDC changes it’s stance based on the results of the new studies they conduct. Is that not the way it should be? Should they have had the answers before the data?

Do you believe the people at the CDC who’s job it is to work on vaccinations only required 4 hours of studying to have the knowledge they have? Really?
After 4 hours of research I’m qualified to read a 100 page clinic trial report on vaccinations? It does not take 4 hours of studying to understand this
