I wouldnt ask the misc.

I would read sociology books.

Or maybe you can google "factors of criminal behaviour in chilren"

"Effeft of growing up in poor neighborhood".
Stuff like that.

And maybe look up some things about slavery or the social defest hypotisis.

After the Civil War, Jim Crow was invented to keep black folks trapped in a cycle of crime, poverty, and imprisonment. A lot of freed slaves were scooped up and put directly into prisons. By the letter of the law, prisoners are slaves, and a lot of descendants of slaves are kept in this cycle. Even the black schools, which were never really desegregated, put the kids in a school-to-prison pipeline.

So a lot black folks get cut off from normal society and jobs, which is why the ghetto exists. It's also where you'll find poor white folks and non-Christians, in the city at least. In these places your only hope of getting paid and surviving is often crime. The rest of the country adopted Jim Crow after the Civil War because rest of the country practiced slavery. It's just the most obvious in the South which is where most black folks live. This system was put into place to preserve the system of free labor built on millions of African slaves.

So that's how Jim Crow works and that's why people still make a big deal about segregation. All the cop killings on the news are not new developments, cops have been killing black folks freely for hundreds of years. Modern police are direct descendants of slave patrols. People in the klan will actually go out hunting black people like animals and get away with it. All this stuff is a product of slavery, and slavery never ended, it just took a different form.

There are exceptions, I have white family that did life in prison, I have non-white family that are successful in work/education. For the most part though, prisons are filled with non-white people who are legally slaves. Maybe this helps you understand why people still talk about slavery. People don't have the balls to talk about this history so it gets forgotten and washed out of people's minds. I think it's good to know and understand the history of your country, even if it can be extremely dark.

kind of like how the saying "they come from old money" only applies to whites

I don't think this is a fair argument because eventually you have to step up and drive change within your community, you can't just cling on to things that happened several lifetimes ago. many immigrants come to this country not even knowing the language and not having any education, yet they still make things work

The vast majority of people would rather blame others for their shortcomings than accept they have agency and are the main reasons to blame for their life sucking

It's just a catch all excuse that you can't really argue against because it's protected by the Racism shield.

At some point that excuse is going to stop cutting it, because personal responsibility is a thing

If you'd like to learn about it from an academic perspective, besides the informal history I've given, then read the history of the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution and how its exceptions are solidified in case law through Ruffin v. Commonwealth in 1871.

https://incarcerationlaw.com/documen...mmonwealth.pdf

As far as modern police descending from slave patrols and Indian constables, this is covered more extensively by scholars in police studies at Southern universities. This is probably the most thorough explanation of how modern police departments were developed in America:

https://plsonline.eku.edu/insidelook...rican-policing

Finally, the systemic denial of jobs and financing to black people is well-documented. As a professional in finance, this is something of an open secret. Our government chooses to gloss over these aspects of our history for their own interests, but the truth will always emerge in some form or fashion.

https://www.investopedia.com/the-his...nation-5076948

Everything I've told you can be substantiated, but getting deep into it can get really dense. That's why I prefer to write it out in an informal way. You'll see governments and corporations trying to wash out this history, but Southern people actually live it and are very familiar with how it works.

At least the conservative types, which are also often Southern, are unabashed in their recognition of it. Liberals will conveniently ignore these truths while pretending to be a helping hand that extends from the very same institutions. White people should understand that this is harmful to us as well, and that Lincoln waged his war in the name of poor white people, in his own words.

Segregation divides the work force and weakens the negotiating power of all races. As a white man myself, I am not content with the disenfranchisement of other white people who struggle in poverty. It's rooted in this persecution of black people who should be our powerful allies and not our enemies. We are beholden to the same institutions of power that seek to divide and conquer our lives.

Westernizes blacks are likely to be Carribean or African American, and therefore directly decended from slaves, contrary to modern day Africans.

I think a large factor in the victim mindset is that it becomes their identity.

Immigrants who come or came to the US and made something of themselves without any help likely had a focus and a strong idea of who they were and where they wanted to go. I believe a lot of US black people identify with being the victim because they have nothing else.

Some may not be able to link their distant ancestors to any one country in Africa and either value the continent on the whole or pull up how Blacks were also Ancient Egyptians.

Black people congregate together and sometimes the only thing they have in common is skin colour and nothing more. I think as African American culture grows it will splinter off, and they will be able to carve our their own identity aside from the trash the media and socierty provides for them, and what so many of them idolise and subscribe to. I believe that once that happens, the victim mentality will slowly dwindle as time goes on.

On the other hand, in the real world, the majority of Black people are just living life without any such mindset.

How much does it cost to keep a prisoner? How much financial contribution do prison work programs make?

Are Prisoners making money for the government?

If not... how can you say prisons are a form of slavery designed to be profitable to the government.

It's just absolutely insane. Stop being a victim and start being accountable towards your own community. Look at what black people can do to better themselves and pull themselves out of this mess. Every other group of people has done it. Nobody is saying black people had it good 200 years ago or even 100 years ago. All we are saying is do something yourself to get yourself out of that situation rather than blaming people who are successful.

What group of people has been able to become successful by guilt tripping rich people into giving you some of their money?

Black people in USA have an opportunity 90% of the world would literally kill for, they are born into the most capitalistic nation on the planet where anybody and everyone has opportunity to either go to school and get a decent career or start up a business and become wealthy. Don't complain about access to capital ( due to poor credit history ), do something about it, fix your credit, offer financing and investment to your own community, etc. Shop at black owned businesses. Work to fix your own community instead of begging white people to do it for you.

White people escaping communism had it much much worse than blacks do (maybe not worse than slaves but no one alive was a slave in the usa)

You’re drinking too much of that koolaid my guy. I live in the south and that’s not the case where I live at all. You’re right about the things that have been done to black people in some really fukked up cases but that’s not the norm.

People have done fukked up things to many different peoples all over the world at some point. There is no Jim Crow system working against blacks in America now, if anything it’s getting extremely ridiculous the opposite direction if we’re talking media.

I agree about the pipelines from school to prison. That’s a complicated issue that has a lot to do with when too many black people moved into a place everyone else left. After that though, mostly all that’s left are blacks, why are they repeating their cycle of crime? If the majority would knock out doing crime the communities would have nice places, successful enticing career opps for people of all races to compete for.

No, they’d rather stay on welfare and be about that street life instead because that’s what rap culture has contributed to America. It’s not the systems fault these places are morally corrupt hot spots.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.

I wish more white people were aware of their roots as well. Nothing wrong with being proud of your roots and culture, but so many have lost this thanks to materialism and pop culture. It's a shame that many white people act like they don't have culture beyond their skin color, but we are only white because of the European tribes that our ancestors belonged to.

At least we have Southern culture, which is a mix of every culture in America. Beyond that, we have European ancestry. Our ties to this ancestry were severed by Roman colonization, much like how black people were separated and converted through their colonization. The white man can be proud of who he is without hating the other races, and he doesn't have to be so timid in talking about the history of race.

The white man should be aware of this history, so that he can be empowered along with every other American. Without a strong connection to our roots, we are vulnerable to the whims and winds of shallow desires and manipulation.
