If you don't land a wife before 30, chances are you are going to marry/date single moms. I've dated a few around my age, and i can tell you there are 2 types of single moms....there are the ultra sloots that have zero self control and make bad decisions repeatedly....then there are the ones who have been caught in the line of fire. It happened to one of my cousins, and a few very nice girls i had dated. These women were loyal wives but had been cheated on by their husbands who they had been dating for many years before marriage. For countless reasons... Being a ****ing idiot and getting married at 20 and having a kid, divorced at 27 now boom single mom. Having a fkn kid at 16 and 18 and then single from the dad at 24...

I'm 33 and have 100% always been anti single moms, but I've noticed a lot of the 'single moms' are incredibly more mature than same age no-child counterpart. More responsible, and more willing to do women/motherly things (cook, clean, take care of a guy).

Now this doesn't go for all of them, definitely seem some MAJOR trash as well lmao. But I've encountered a few single moms recently that definitely have their **** together, 50/50 custody with the dad who also has his **** together, they just don't work. I will say though just as being a bit older, I think there are some positive qualities in them you don't see in a lot of similar aged non-mom girls out there now days.

I tend to only date 21-26 year olds, but I meet a lot of people. One of the girls above is a 26 year old single mom, 2 kids, average job, her and her ex split 50/50 custody hes married w/ new wife and a new kid. He cheated on her and was massive control freak but she had a kid w/ him at 16 and then 18. Actually a super decent girl. Don't think I could actually date her because I know nothing about kids, but I've definitely changed my general mindset a bit on single moms over the last year or 2.

Another 'single mom' I am friends with, she is 27, her husband (friend of mine) died from cancer a couple years ago at 30 years old... Like she 100% has her **** together, awesome mom, super hot, but damn how can you fault someone like this for being a single mom you know?

Her ex was basically just a 100% control freak over everything, her phone, her, their kids etc. He put cameras up in every room of their house except the bathroom LMAO. Would monitor every text she made and all this like crazy ****... She was a 'stay at home mom' and if she took the kids to like go see her family he'd call someone to verify if she was like there the whole time or not, put a GPS tracker in her car. come to find out the dude was like cheating on her constantly lol.

They may be nice, mature women with their head on their shoulders but if you make the conscious choice to date a single mother you must realize that you will always take a backseat behind her children from another man.

As for the thread topic, when I was single I smashed a fukton of single moms. But never ever went past smashing. Never wife up another man's baby momma. Horrible idea except in VERY rare circumstances, such as the girl a few posts up whose husband passed away.

See I used to think this same thing, but its not necessarily true. I think at some socioeconomic level it is, and in some cultures it definitely is.

I've met single moms (never dated, so can't confirm, but have a couple friends dating "GOOD" single moms and its not the case), that truly believe the concept of their 'marriage' coming first and their children are secondary to that. Not in the concept of 'taking care of their children', but the idea that they made a life long vow to this person and working through issues/problems and being a 'team' or 'united front' comes first. Now AGAIN this is definitely person/culture dependent. I've seen this is a very big thing in the russian culture (dating a russian girl now, not a mother) and hispanic, and some 'conservative/christian' communities. Or at least it seems to be more 'pushed' in those than others. Cultures or ideologies where people may take the Husband/Wife traditional gender roles more serious.This **** blows my ****ing MIND. Everytime I hit dating apps, and I come across a girl that is like 'Expecting a baby girl in 6 weeks!" I'm just like WTF are you doing on here? get your **** together and get off ****ing tinder lmao.
