Villeneuve has to one of the best working directors today.

His last 5: Blade Runner 2049, Arrival, Sicario, Enemy, Prisoners. +Dune coming soon.

Matt Reeves has mentioned that him, writer Drew Goddard (Cloverfield, Netflix Daredevil, The Martian) and JJ Abrams have been way too busy to make one.

But JJ Abrams just hired a new writer.

There's a really cool documentary on the Blu-Ray of this movie.

Dam, would be sweet to get another instalment tbf. Each movie were very different in their style/production and timing, it could easily fit into it

Arrival was alright, but it ended up being more of a love story than an alien movie. Felt like bait and switch
