it's an improvement on the same tech BTC uses, for sure. but as long as crypto exists, I'm pretty sure bitcorn will reign supreme simply because its the father of all chitcoins and the limited supply

obviously people have different needs in blockchain utility though, which is why they tend to shill privacy coins or meme coins with no limit on how many can be mined
