IMO, small towns are something you either have to be born into and have a rock solid social group for, or just be cool with embracing the rot.

The only things cities really offer you are more jobs, more chit to buy, and more strangers around. If you want something from those strangers, like say Tinder secks, then it's cool. But if you want nothing to do with them and they want nothing to do with you, small towns are awesome for dropping that dead weight.

Highways clogged with cars full of *******s you'll never meet, hills tore up and covered in homes full of *******s you'll never meet, hiking trails crawling like ants with *******s you'll never meet... just phukk all of them and get them out of my way.

Nice. But how about some more trees though? I would think a nice planting to screen the house a bit from the road would be pleasant and would reduce the glare of headlights from cars entering the neighborhood after dark.

But I also like privacy so I love having trees in my yard.

Dude we are in the middle of farmland for as far as you can see in any direction. This area was a corn field less than 20 years ago...

My wife and I both hate trees...I grew up in house in the woods and I spent my childhood raking leaves. I will be good if I don't ever have to see a rake again for the rest of my life!!

We are actually looking for about 20 to 30 acres to build a new house in the middle of the land with a small lake, secluded from public.
