LOL.Have any of you *******s driven by a movie theater lately?
I know none of you have went to the movies, since the parking lots are empty 24/7.
Invest in whoever is making home theater equipment if you're smart.

If I had money to play with I'd consider shorting anything connected to the movie industry. Maybe even Netflix. There will be a battle and they will be faced with rising costs and fewer and fewer new subscribers. I can't see how they can continue growing after the pandemic...at least in any way that can let them pay out the ass for schit like "Friends" lol.

If you wanna make a quick few hundred bucks, just watch bctx to go below $3, buy about 100 shares and wait until it hits $6-7 and sell. BCTX has been recycling this trend for the last year so safe to say it will happen again.

Renting or buying a new release through a service is $20+. I'll gladly pay $20/ticket for a VIP theatre and sit in front of a huge screen while waiters bring me food and booze, and I'll be in there as soon as theatres open up again

GME and AMC situations are completely different. GME CEO is a retarded muppet who sat on his hands while the stock moons without any sort of offering. AMC has a savvy CEO that is doing anything he can to keep the company out of bankruptcy i.e. cashing in on the ridiculous pumped market and doing it on the backs of the diamond hand stimmy boiz backs. Anyone who didn't cash out of their initial investment yesterday is a legit retard and shouldn't be investing. It's ok to play with the houses money, but always protect your initial capital. That being said BB is up next. I will cash out once it hits 30/share and buy more ETH and ADA with it since the crypto market i believe has seen its bottom during this cycle. The Stock market is overdue for a massive pullback or dare i say, crash.

Made a nice ~$1500 (before taxes) off of AMC. Then my Robinhood account got flagged for day trading. So I went through the hassle of cancelling margin (which would remove the day trading status), "downgrading" to a cash account, only to discover you HAVE to have a margin account if you want to use Robinhood to buy/sell options in general. Total BS that you can't do options with a cash account.
Only way to do day trading without blocks using a Robinhood margin account is to possess $25k or more in your stocks/liquid at all times.
Apparently other apps are the same way due to federal law.. if you have a margin account and you want to get into options, you can get flagged for day trading with blocks in place if you don't have the $25k minimum. However the other apps at least let you do options trading with cash accounts.
tl;dr
Margin is dumb. Only way to play options on Robinhood is to have a margin account, which leaves you vulnerable to the Day Trading policies and blocking. Use other apps to both avoid margin and gain access to options trading.
