Chernobyl was great - seems like the last "prestige HBO show". Like I wish I'd canceled my subscription after the spring of 2019, when Barry s2, Game of Thrones, and Chernobyl ended. It's like immediately after that, the entire network changed into LGBT & ethnic minority catering shows, and the emphasis on quality had dropped. Now its like HBO is that channel with nine different shows focusing on black transexuals experiencing their first romance.

This was the same network that once shelved an entire series because it didn't meet their high standards (back in like 2007, they filmed an entire season of some show about Dallas real estate women, and decided it wasn't good enough for the HBO name).
Spring 2019 was it - all downhill since then

Good suggestions.

I'd say Gomorrah directing was very lazy, unfortunately--90% of shots are people driving to some Italian ghetto, getting out of cars, talking, then leaving. Literally some scenes are no more than some guy driving, getting out to talk and say 3 sentences, then getting in his car and driving off.
