When i was in year 12, i thought the idea that we were supposed to know what to do for the rest of our lives was ludicrous.
I still got into a uni program which i attended for a year and half, but transferred over to a science based one, so it was sort of like 'dropping out'.
I studied OK but never really cared about it THAT much, i just really just wanted to complete my bachelor degree because i didn't wanna look like one of 'those people' who i disliked from school etc.
Like i'm the type of person who can go to the gym and party, but i can't seem to sit down, study, and concentrate for the life of me - if you catch my drift.
I managed to finish uni, but i don't rate it at all.
My mom is really proud of me, but i think it was wasted effort.
In reality i should have found a way to heal past my traumas and emotional wounds, and i would have excelled at something anyway.
Like i sort of just went because i did not want to look dumb, but the thing about uni is that anybody who can focus on the crap long enough can do it, it doesn't really prove intelligence or anything except that you can memorise a bunch of crap.
The problem solving component is there, but you have to care enough to put in the effort.
I just have an issue with this stuff in the world which to me is 'useless' like my manager at work getting me to do stuff that's actually useless, just to make it look like she's doing stuff LOL.
I dunno man, uni isn't that great

twice. a year of accounting major then a semester of phys ed.
I honestly don't know why I dropped out srs, first time I didn't even have a mood disorder, I just remember struggling with the finals. stayed in the basement and just smoked weed most of the time.
after i convinced myself that i gathered myself up, in a different uni for phys ed, that's when my psychosis started. don't regret too much though, had a blast upgrading courses and just smoking weed.
yeah I wasted my parent's money on college but thank god I got out before I was too deep in. Now's all good though, I graduated pre-employment at a polytechnic college and wrote a 90 on my first year electrical exam.

but nah I don't blame anyone, in fact I'm grateful how my life turned out. If I didn't start blazing at a young age I would've probably started now in my late twenties (when cannabis got legalized) and then it would've messed me up for sure!!

I made similar mistakes at a young age and learned gratefulness and also to NOT take anything.
Like now i use supplements like vitamins, nootropics, protein, and preworkout - but nothing heavy duty.
and i know why i shouldn't.
Defs would end up doing the same crap if i had not done it earlier, because even now i can see the appeal.

Once when I was 18. I had pretty much always hated school, and just wasn't ready for more of it.
Worked at a factory for a few years, and then went back right before I turned 22. Finished my bachelors, and then several years down the road (after the Navy) got a Masters too.
