I’ve been watching e3s for like….20+ years at this point. This is easily the single worst e3 I’ve ever seen


That being said, Nintendo wins by forfeit. Metroid dread/Zelda botw2 wins it for them solely due to other companies showing literally nothing

I thought MS has a great show. Lots of games (Forza Horizon 5, Flight sim, Psychonauts 2, Halo had a better showing, Hades, Plague Tale 2, Atomic Heart, Replaced, Somverville (Inside/Limo devs), the ascent, outer worlds 2, sea of thieves/pirates of the Caribbean, back 4 blood, stalker 2, yakuza like a dragon game pass, etc. And everything on game pass except far cry and battlefield.

Half of those things are just re-releases and the other half aren’t exclusive to Microsoft. This Halo is still a complete and utter failure until proven otherwise

3 out of the 15 games I listed are games already released (yakuza, Hades, flight sim (not even on console), one is a pretty interesting add on to an existing game (Sea of Thieves)).

Fair enough on Halo, but the multiplayer is looking great.

And the majority were not cg either ( outer worlds 2 (just an announcement), and a plague tale (which will most likely be a very good game, pretty as well as they are technically and artistically talented) ).

I do agree they shouldn't even do cg trailers though.

They barely showed anything and of what they showed it doesn't look like any innovation. Just the same game with different puzzles maybe.

And it won't be out until 2023.

The metriod game looked good but tired if 2d stuff, deliver some juicy 3d.

Mario party maps from n64? Lol

Wario? Yawn

Just want some new meaty 3d action or adventure games. 3d donkey Kong , star fox, Kirby anything

And no, rumors about the new model proved false. I think they are just going to wait until they have better games to launch with it.

Bloomberg report was definitely wrong. No new switch. I don’t know about adding an Xbox to my gaming hobby. But no new switch this year so.

Keeping detailed impressions aside I’ll just put down whet all games I will play

Metroid prime dread. I admit I’ve only beaten Mp1 and mp2 (boy was that a challenge srs). May hold me over until 4 ready! Fav FPS ever, yes aware dread isn’t FPS I saw the trailer and treehouse gameplay ffs god dang! Like hush up already!!

Botw 2........ in 2022! Nuff said.

Super monkey ball in one collection? **** yes! I loved 1, 2 and BB all of which I played day one on cube snd wii. That was a nice e3 surprise.

Not super aware of Metroid lore, think we'll get a cool Ridley boss fight in the new Metroid?

Seems like Samus is being stalked by that machine looking thing. Almost like a horror element in the game.

Considering metroidvania is my favorite genre I'm pumped for Metroid Dread. Like moreso than anything else at E3 this year lol.

Gonna give SMTV a shot too, looked pretty intruiging.

missed this thread

- only genuinly excited about Monkey Ball, just hope they include all OG partygames

- very disappointed about how they handled the Zelda 35th... Skyward Sword and a Game&Watch... that's it... SAD

I honestly don't understand, was hoping for Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask but at miminum expected Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD... they basically ported every single WiiU game except those by now

Switch is their first console since N64 that doesn't have OoT and MM... how is this even possible?

lots of people have waited a long time for a new 2d metroid. And this is the next chronologically (Metroid 5). It'd be weird if it wasn't 2d.

I watched this and thought it was so meh, then I talk to a couple Nintendo buddies and they are hyped AF. Nintendo people are weird.

I have to s of nostalgia for Monkey Ball but can't imagine it holds up all that well today. I always think about purchasing whatever version is on the PS store when I see it on sale.
