Anyone else think this high waist trend on women makes them look gross?

I hate it. I miss the good ole days of low rise jeans and whale tails.
Those were also before the woke days and fatties weren't applauded. Glad I had my wild days before clown world took over.

Lol bunch of insta-hoes think they are into fitness because they do selfies in fitness apparel when they have no muscle or definition. They photshop and air brush themselves to make them look like they go to the gym on a regular basis and take care of their bodies.

I love high waisted pants, but realistically they're only made for one specific body type. If you're not slim thick with a good set of hips you shouldn't be wearing them...

I miss the 90s 00s with the low cut waist short shorts with a touch of tramp stamp on the lower back.

When I was growing up in the 90's - early 2000's, the waist-high pantsline look was always associated with middle aged women who never let go of the 80's/early 90's. That look died in the early 90's, and should have been left there where it belonged.
I've actually heard modern women in their early 20's argue hard in defense of waist-high pants, as if it were some big deal to them. This one chick in particular railed on about how it "objectifies women". She claimed to believe the comeback of the waist-high pants look in modern women was due to women "not dressing to please you assshole guys anymore, but for ourselves and our own comfort". Meanwhile, this chick posts typical attention whoring social media posts using her body to seek validation/approval by sexualizing herself - pics of herself all dolled up, skimpy bikini pics, skintight gym outfit pics emphasizing her angus/taters, etc.
Waist-high is definitely an awful look. I feel like their comeback is largely attributable as an overcompensating response to the low rise pants look of the 2000's where a lot of women could barely even keep their assscheeks in their pants. That look was admittedly over the top silly looking in its own right (even if it looked hot on some women), but the waist-high look where their pants go above their belly button makes them look like legit clowns. There are usually two types of women who argue in defense of the waist-high look - Attractive women who are hypocrites by acting/dressing slooting as they please despite bitching that waist-high pants are "comfortable" and "because they don't like assshole guys looking at them", and obese women who like using it as an excuse to cover up their muffin tops.
