they have to appeal to the demographic. if they used upper class/respectable/posh girls, it wouldn't work for a variety of reasons

1) the girls wouldn't go on a show like this, because they have self respect
2) the viewers would critcise them of being posh/snobby (thats what working class people call other who aren't like them), thus leading to negative ratings
3) you wouldn't be able to get the guys to do the show - because people who have the calibre to date chicks of higher class are out in boardrooms/earning bank, they don't want to do reality tv
4)it would be less enjoyable for the audience (regardless of demographic) because people like this (not very intelligent folk) do stupid sh*t, talk in poor english, and generally behave like kunts - which makes it funny to watch and talk about them the next day with friends

not all english girls are like this, these are selectively picked for the show.
