Unpopular opinion, losing fat is much harder than most of us think.

There's a reason the vast majority of people that lose weight just rebound right after. It's not just a question of diet, it's a mental issues.
Most of these people are addicted to highly palatable foods and have already made a strong association in their brain between food and comfort
Brb since a young age eating foods that are engineered be addictive
Brb parents associating food with comfort " little Johnny is feeling sad? Let's give him some highly palatable junk food to sooth him"
Brb almost too old to change that mentality now

I'm just glad that I grew up in a household where we ate normal food and that I liked sports since a young age
