I vaguely remember the 3 ninjas. It's probably been 20 years since I last seen those movies.
3 Ninjas had them fight in a cargo ship

Kick back had them in Japan

Knuckle Up was them on a Native American Reservation. Something about the local government taking the Natives land.

High Noon At Mega Mountain had Hulk Hogan in a Theme Park.

I have no idea why I remember these.

Karate kid is a franchise that is the exception to the rule of lifting; if Ralph Macchio had been a bodybuilder he never would’ve gotten the role of Daniel LaRusso. He was skinny enough in his 20s to pass as a 16 year old.

Same could be said of Michael J. Fox, imagine if he had gotten jacked between Back to the Future part 1 and 2?

Turns too teenage drama for me should just focus on Johnny.
Yeah I loved the first season. So much nostalgia.

But it went downhill fast after that.

But my god the high school drama chit is Disney show tier.

Wish they had just kept the show Johnny focused and not introduced 30 ****ing kids.
everything this guy said^ The first few episodes were great. When it turned into high school drama + teenage crybaby romance + Johnny being some champion of outcasts fighting back, it started to lose me. It would be much better if it was a story of Johnny regaining his marbles, getting himself together, facing his demons + rivalry with Daniel, it would have been great.

but it falls into the trap of trying to be too many things for the sake of marketability. Gay.

and lol at so many people saying 1st season good, every season after is meh. I only have seen the first season so far...
