OP, planning too far in advance makes the anticipation/excitement fade before the day even comes.

She's probably feeling the same way. 2 weeks is a long fukkin' time to wait after that initial spark. Should've been within a week, max.

I have no energy with dating anymore, myself. I never did well in dating, I always just ran through randos. The last 3 or 4 girlfriends I've had (and by that I mean nothing official, just talking / dating for more than a ONS, ya know like a few weeks / months of dating without a label) were all pretty psychotic.

Ignoring the jokes, OP you gotta be honest with yourself.

What caused you to talk with her after the party? Are you attracted? Does she seem successful, independent, altogether, etc.? Did you just want a quick lay or are you looking at a potential LTR?

To set up a date far out, and to feel as if you don't even wanna go anymore, tells me you might've been after a quick lay, not a LTR. A planned formal date indicates you're going for the latter (LTR), not the former. Are you yourself ready for a LTR?

The reason for the long period was Father’s Day weekend and her going on a vacation. Trust me I’ve never planned a date out like that before but she was totally cool with it. She’s the one that gave me a follow on IG after the meeting. She might not be interested anymore either idk but I’m just feeling retarded about the whole scenario myself as well.
