The appeal of the cult fails when friends and family die. That's why I love asking Trumpers if they would kill for him or die for him. While they may say yes, their families obviously matter more. The Republican party's primary base is white men. They lose in pretty much every other demographic. And even there, about 45% of white men oppose Trump. It would be wiser for the Republicans to abandon Trump completely in the long term. He is popular, but his practices will eventually doom the nation.

Personally, I think Trump has killed more Americans than ISIS, Russia, China, and pretty much every enemy of America. He also presents the possibility of more deaths and the total destruction of our government. It is my view that he should be tried and executed for treason. His ideology should be eradicated from this Earth and his supporters should be driven into the shadows and cast out. He is a dangerously stupid man who presents an imminent national security threat. I think a large chunk of this country agrees.
