Exactly, Someone is educated and gets it.

Just seeing people making six figs off bullsh*t real estate jobs with no real education in places like Texas and Florida.

That's when you know like in 2008 that a major economic catastrophe is on.

If you went to good universities and not an ex-military pleb you understand these things.

Lol, 90 percent of the real estate jobs won't exist and will be replaced over the coming 5 years by a new incoming class of stupid hot sloots, Seen this twice before already. just lol at believing a house on the outskirts of Houston is worth anything more than 150k

How many old real estate agents do you see? they get spat out by a recession usually.

Interest rate hikes are going to be the trigger that blows this whole thing up, and everyone knows it. Stocks have 20% to correct immediately, RE paper prices fall in line with rate increases, and zombie corporations will fail once they actually have to pay interest on their new debt.

The US is currently in a liquidity trap... limitless money printer dollars don't even stimulate the market any more. The Fed can no longer drive the market up at this point. So the only direction I can see things heading from here is down. Just depends on how long and hot JPow lets inflation burn first and if an underlying market weakness turns a correction into a collapse.

I wonder what will happen to car prices and availability in 2-3 years?

Right now, there just aren't enough cars. The prices are inflated and even used cars are going for way over normal market value. Anyone buying any car now, they're starting their loans way underwater.

What happens in a few years when tons and tons of people have all these cars that they owe way more on than they are worth? They can't really sell them because they'll take a huge loss, so I don't think there will be a huge supply - and if there is, they'll be asking way more than they're worth just to break even.

Weird times.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

The US in general just isn't an efficient economic power anymore. Basically like communism has to find bull**** jobs for 50% of the population.

Adjust Accordingly.

Just ****ing lol if you spent 500k on a 3 bedder in Texas or Florida (Not Miami)

If it happens I'll pick up 2 or 3 rental properties. If it doesn't keep investing in the market. Doesn't matter to me either way.

Do you own a home OP? Or are you hoping for crash so you can afford one?

Speculation or is there a source?

Actually it’s always speculation. But this recession, yeah, it’s going to be worst than 2008. I don’t see how we can recover between national debt, over inflated housing market, and a slow increase in jobs. Not to mention the interest rate is at its lowest. Increasing it will be bad news. Our government has cornered us.

You're 35 and still borderline retarded. There is literally no reason to look to 2008 as a reference point for anything happening today.

I've asked this to every rentcel that is copemaxxing but they never have a fukking answer, but I will try again. What would be the catalyst for a 50% crash?

I am a rentcel but ever since I worked in a restaurant to put myself through college (CPA now) and saw how many absolute moron coworkers would transition to real estate I lost all respect for them srs. Most people are not understanding that at least 50% of "purchases" are just people selling and buying new houses aka "changing hands." Most have people can't just sell and go live in their car with all their monies. They have families/kids.

They act like millions of joe schmo's are getting loans they cant afford like in 2008 and DIS ECONOMY WILL COLLAPSE.

Probably right on everything, except it isn't hard to get a loan for a house right now. It is just that it is hard to FIND a house. And if you do, they already received ten offers over the selling price.
