I get all their best cuts, but their prime New York steak is my go to. Still soft and flavorful and easiest to cook and gobble down

Some Whole foods have dry aged ribeye fyi. It's about 30 a lb which is still fairly reasonable but it's very good stuff.

I usually get porters from the local butcher or Lunardis

I was never much of a steak guy, but OP you're sleeping on Shop Rite. I got 80/20 ground beef for $1.99 per pound. Made some burger patties mixed with green mountain gringo BBQ sauce and whiskey. Grilled them up, then added fried onion rings and shredded cheddar on top. I hit levels of hnnnngggg that shouldn't even be possible.
