So our area of the Mesa is being protected by the river. We got the chickens and ducks moved to my mother in laws house. And we sprayed down the wood porch and barn in case one of the raining ashes are still lit. There’s ash just everywhere

This was this morning.

Hubby got some more things from the house and took this before work :/

Not looking good.

California is so dumb.

They knew about the fire on the Fourth of July when it started and said let it burn out naturally, don’t remove dead bush, and didn’t start trying to fight it till people’s houses started burning down

front driveway. Ya we are evacuated, the ducks and the chickens we moved, and pig, neighbors goats and alpaca all safe. And our other animals.

Hubby went back this morning to get some other stuff we cant replace (my grandmothers things, photos, kids stuff and a few others things) and I think he wanted to hose down the wood porch again and barn and chicken coop

My county had 2 major fires last year I was evacuated

And a massive fire a few years ago that destroyed half the county

Thanks all that fire is all the way up north.

put those damn fires out, it's not hard just get a bigger hose. I mean home depot sells fire extinguisher I imagine if everyone bought like maybe 2 of them each and attacked the fire with it. Fire would be gone in 2 hours 4 hours max.
