30 as well OP. Will say hitting end of 20s and turning 30 hit hard a year ago. Once you get a few months in you dont care, and not dreading 31 as much tbh.


20s to at least early/mid 30s are pretty great. If you take care of yourself you will still look great, but should have more confidence/experience/money etc and physically still at your peak. The only difference are your hobbies and interests change slightly. I don't care to go out to late night to bars every weekend (or even every month) like in 20s. Instead like to truly enjoy what this world has to offer - backpacking/camping, fishing, trying new things like triathlons, etc.

One thing tho you have to have your chit together. Can still be excused for figuring stuff out in 20s or making dumb mistakes, but that's less forgivable at this age. Other than that it's basically much of the same, I dont think the real big change happens until you have kids

Advice for your 30s: Have fun and love yourself. You work really hard and I get the feeling you might need some rest and relaxation. My 30s absolutely flew by, so enjoy them while you have them.
