I have a coworker that caught covid and he says he can't eat garlic since then because it taste disgusting srs

FYI, I had a virus in my 20's and my smell and taste didn't come back for over 6 months. That is not unique to covid, it is just common with covid.

I'm just getting over my bout with COVID. Today it seems the last of the symptoms have gone away thankfully.

In my case I wasn't sure if I had the virus or not as symptoms were not overly telling for me. I have colitis and the two overlap. The one item I noticed that was different was the loss of smell. Well that and I was coughing more than typical.

For me the loss of smell lasted about 5 days.
